You stop worrying about leaks during the next storm. You stop second-guessing whether that dark spot on your ceiling is getting worse. You get a roof that actually does its job.
That’s what matters. Not the process, not the materials list—whether your home stays dry and protected when the snow piles up or the wind picks up.
The homes around Stoneham take a beating. Ice dams in winter, heavy rain in spring, heat all summer. Your roof handles all of it, and when it doesn’t, you need someone who can fix it without dragging things out or charging you for work that didn’t need doing. We’ve been handling roof repairs and replacements in this area since 2006, and we know what holds up and what doesn’t.
You’ll know exactly what we’re doing and why. You’ll get a roof that lasts. And you won’t spend the next five years wondering if you should’ve gone with someone else.
Paradise Remodeling Inc isn’t new to this. We’re an Owens Corning Preferred Contractor, which means we meet their standards for quality and reliability. That certification isn’t handed out—it’s earned.
We’re based in Methuen and we’ve worked on roofs all over Stoneham and the surrounding towns. We know the housing stock here. We know what happens to roofs when winter hits and what fails first when a storm rolls through.
We’re licensed, insured, and we don’t cut corners. If something doesn’t need replacing, we’ll tell you. If it does, we’ll explain why and show you what we’re seeing. Most of our work comes from referrals, which tells you something about how we operate.
First, we come out and actually look at your roof. Not a quick glance from the driveway—we get up there and inspect the shingles, flashing, gutters, and anything else that could be causing problems. We take photos if needed and walk you through what we find.
Then we give you a free estimate. It’s detailed, it’s transparent, and it covers exactly what we’re going to do. No vague line items, no surprise charges later.
Once you’re ready to move forward, we schedule the work around your timeline. We protect your property during the job—landscaping, siding, anything that could get damaged. We handle the tear-off, installation, cleanup, and final inspection. When we’re done, we walk the property with you to make sure everything’s right.
You’re not left guessing what happened or what’s next. You know what we did, why we did it, and what kind of warranty covers the work. Then we’re gone, and your roof does what it’s supposed to do.

We handle roof replacements, repairs, and maintenance. That includes asphalt shingles, flat roofing systems, and everything in between. We work with quality materials like Owens Corning and Mule Hide products because they hold up in New England weather.
If you’ve got storm damage, we’ll assess it and work with your insurance if needed. If you’ve got an ice dam problem, we’ll address the root cause, not just patch the symptoms. If your roof is just old and tired, we’ll replace it with something that’ll last another 20 years.
Stoneham homes deal with heavy snow loads, ice buildup, and the occasional nor’easter that tests every weak point in your roof. We’ve seen it all. The older homes near the center of town, the split-levels out toward the Winchester line—they all have their quirks, and we know how to work with them.
We also handle the related work that comes up during a roofing job: carpentry repairs, fascia and soffit replacement, gutter work. If your roof problem connects to something else, we don’t make you call another contractor. We take care of it.
Most full roof replacements in Stoneham run between $8,000 and $18,000, depending on the size of your home, the materials you choose, and what we find when we remove the old roof. A typical ranch might be on the lower end. A larger colonial with multiple valleys and angles will cost more.
That range covers asphalt shingles, which is what most homeowners go with. If you want metal roofing or specialty materials, the price goes up. If there’s rot in the decking or structural issues underneath, that adds to the cost too—but we’ll catch that during the estimate so there’s no surprise.
We give you a detailed, written estimate before any work starts. It breaks down labor, materials, disposal, and anything else that factors into the price. You’ll know what you’re paying for.
Most residential roof replacements take one to three days. A straightforward ranch with good weather? We can usually finish in a day. A larger home with a complex roofline or bad weather in the forecast might stretch to three.
We don’t leave your home exposed overnight. If we have to stop for weather or any other reason, we make sure everything’s tarped and secure. You won’t wake up to a half-done roof and rain coming in.
The timeline also depends on what we find once we start. If the decking is rotted or there’s damage we couldn’t see from the outside, we’ll address it right away—but we’ll talk to you first. We’re not adding work without your approval.
Late spring through early fall is ideal. The temperatures are stable, the shingles seal properly, and we’re not fighting snow or ice. Most homeowners schedule roof work between May and October for that reason.
That said, we can work in cooler weather if needed. If you’ve got a leak or storm damage in the middle of winter, we’re not going to tell you to wait until May. We’ll make it work. It just takes a little longer and requires some extra precautions.
If you’re planning ahead and there’s no emergency, aim for late summer or early fall. The weather’s predictable, and you’re getting your roof buttoned up before winter hits. That’s when Stoneham roofs take the most abuse—ice dams, heavy snow, freeze-thaw cycles. You want a solid roof before all that starts.
Yes. If your roof was damaged in a storm and you’re filing a claim, we’ll work with your insurance company. We’ll document the damage, provide photos and a detailed estimate, and answer any questions the adjuster has.
We’ve done this plenty of times. We know what insurance companies look for and how to present the information so your claim doesn’t get held up. We’re not a public adjuster—we’re a roofing contractor—but we’ll make the process as straightforward as possible.
Once your claim is approved, we handle the repairs or replacement according to what the insurance covers. If there’s a gap between what they’ll pay and what the job actually costs, we’ll explain that upfront. No surprises, no games.
If the damage is isolated—a few missing shingles, a small leak, flashing that came loose—a repair usually makes sense. If your roof is older than 20 years, has widespread wear, or we’re finding problems in multiple areas, replacement is the smarter move.
We’ll tell you honestly which one makes sense. If a repair buys you another five years and you’re planning to sell soon, that might be the right call. If your roof is failing in multiple spots and we’d be back out here every year patching something new, replacement saves you money in the long run.
During the inspection, we’ll show you what we’re seeing. Curling shingles, granule loss, soft spots in the decking—whatever’s going on, we’ll walk you through it. Then you can make the call based on real information, not a sales pitch.
We offer a workmanship warranty on our labor, and the materials come with their own manufacturer’s warranty. Owens Corning shingles, for example, typically carry a 25 to 50-year warranty depending on the product line. We’ll explain exactly what’s covered before you sign anything.
Our workmanship warranty covers installation issues—if something fails because of how we installed it, we’ll fix it. The manufacturer’s warranty covers defects in the materials themselves. Between the two, you’re protected.
As an Owens Corning Preferred Contractor, we can also offer extended warranty options that cover more than the standard package. We’ll go over those during the estimate if you’re interested. The key is that you know what’s covered, for how long, and who to call if something goes wrong.
