You’re not calling about gutters because you love home maintenance. You’re calling because water’s going where it shouldn’t, or you’re tired of climbing ladders twice a year to clear out leaves and debris.
Properly installed seamless gutters do one thing really well: move water away from your foundation, siding, and landscaping before it causes problems. No basement seepage. No eroded soil around your house. No rotted fascia boards that cost thousands to replace.
Wilmington gets more rain than most of Massachusetts, and with tree coverage higher than 88% of the country, your gutters work harder here than in most places. That means the installation needs to be right the first time. Proper slope, correctly sized downspouts, and secure mounting that won’t pull away during ice buildup or heavy storms.
When your gutter system works the way it should, you stop worrying about it. That’s the outcome that matters.
We’ve been handling roofing, siding, and gutter work throughout Essex County since 2011. We’re based in Methuen and work regularly in Wilmington, so we know what homes here deal with.
We’re licensed, insured, and we use materials that hold up to New England weather. Our gutter installations use .032 gauge aluminum with high-capacity channels and wide mouth downspouts because undersized systems fail when you actually need them.
You’ll work directly with Feliciano and the same crew from estimate to cleanup. No subcontractors. No surprises. We show up when we say we will, and we’re still around if you have questions six months later.
First, we come out to look at your house. We measure the roofline, check the fascia condition, and figure out where water needs to go. If your downspouts are draining too close to the foundation or you need additional outlets, we’ll tell you during this visit. The estimate is free and usually takes about 30 minutes.
Once you’re ready to move forward, we schedule the installation. Most homes take one day, though larger properties might need two. We remove old gutters if needed, make any fascia repairs, then install your new seamless gutter system. Everything’s custom-formed on site to fit your exact measurements.
We test the system before we leave. That means running water through to verify proper flow and checking that downspouts direct water at least six feet from your foundation. You’ll get a walkthrough of the completed work, and we clean up all debris before we go.
After installation, you’ve got our number. If something doesn’t look right or you have questions about maintenance, you can reach us. We don’t disappear after the check clears.

A proper gutter installation isn’t just hanging metal on your roofline. You’re getting seamless aluminum gutters cut to length on site, so there are no joints to leak. We install hidden hangers every two feet for strength, not the old spike-and-ferrule method that pulls loose over time.
Downspouts are sized to handle Wilmington’s heavy rainfall, typically 3×4 inch rectangular or larger depending on your roof area. We include elbows and extensions to direct water away from your foundation, not just dump it at the base of your house.
Color matching matters for resale value. We carry standard colors that match most Wilmington homes, and we can order custom colors if your siding or trim requires it. The gutters are baked enamel finish, not painted, so the color won’t chip or fade.
If you’re dealing with heavy tree coverage, we’ll talk about gutter guards during the estimate. They’re not always necessary, but for homes surrounded by oaks and maples, they cut maintenance way down. We install Gutter Shutter systems that actually work, not the mesh screens that clog with pine needles.
Most gutter installations in Wilmington run between $1,200 and $2,500 depending on your home’s size and how many corners and valleys we’re working around. That’s a fraction of what you’d pay to fix foundation damage or replace rotted trim boards.
Most single-family homes in Wilmington take one full day for complete gutter installation. We’re usually on site by 8 AM and finished by late afternoon, including cleanup.
Larger homes or properties with multiple rooflines and complex layouts might need a second day. If we’re also doing fascia repairs or installing gutter guards, that adds time.
Weather delays happen. We won’t install gutters in rain or when temperatures drop below freezing because the sealant won’t cure properly. If we have to reschedule, we’ll give you as much notice as possible and get back out as soon as conditions allow.
Seamless gutters are formed from a single piece of aluminum cut to your exact measurements. The only seams are at inside and outside corners where they’re unavoidable. Sectional gutters come in pre-cut lengths that snap or rivet together every 10 feet.
The problem with sectional systems is that every joint is a potential leak point. The seams separate over time as the house settles and the metal expands and contracts with temperature changes. You end up with drips that defeat the whole purpose of having gutters.
Seamless systems cost slightly more upfront, but they last longer and require less maintenance. For Wilmington’s climate with freeze-thaw cycles and heavy rain, seamless is the better investment. You’re not calling us back in three years to reseal joints.
It depends on how much tree coverage you’re dealing with and whether you’re willing to clean gutters yourself twice a year. If your property has mature oaks, maples, or pines dropping leaves and needles directly onto your roof, gutter guards make sense.
Without guards, you’re climbing a ladder every spring and fall to scoop out debris. That’s not just inconvenient, it’s dangerous. Gutter-related falls send thousands of homeowners to the emergency room every year.
Quality gutter guards like the Gutter Shutter system we install aren’t cheap, but they’re designed to handle heavy debris loads without clogging. The cheap mesh screens you see at hardware stores often create more problems than they solve because they trap small debris and turn into a mat. If you’re going to add guards, use ones that actually work for New England conditions.
Most homeowners in Wilmington pay between $1,200 and $2,500 for complete gutter installation. The final cost depends on your home’s size, how many linear feet of gutter you need, and how complex your roofline is.
A simple ranch with straightforward rooflines costs less than a two-story colonial with multiple valleys, dormers, and bay windows. Every corner, downspout, and elbow adds material and labor. If your fascia boards need repair before we can install gutters, that’s additional.
Gutter guards add to the cost but reduce long-term maintenance. We’ll give you pricing with and without guards during the estimate so you can decide what makes sense for your situation and budget. The estimate is free, and we don’t pressure you to add things you don’t need.
If your new gutters leak at the seams or pull away from the house, that’s a workmanship issue and we’ll come back to fix it at no charge. Properly installed seamless gutters shouldn’t leak or sag if they’re mounted correctly.
Clogs are different. If leaves and debris block your downspouts, that’s a maintenance issue, not an installation defect. Gutters need to be cleaned periodically unless you have gutter guards installed. We can’t warranty against clogs from lack of maintenance.
That said, if you call us with a problem, we’ll come take a look. Sometimes what seems like a clog is actually an installation issue like improper slope or a downspout that’s too small for the roof area. We stand behind our work, and we’re not going to argue with you about what’s covered. We’ll make it right.
We can install gutters year-round in Wilmington as long as temperatures are above freezing. The sealant we use at corners and end caps needs to cure properly, and that won’t happen when it’s too cold.
Winter installation is actually less disruptive for some homeowners because landscaping is dormant and you’re not worried about us trampling flower beds. We just need a decent weather window without ice or snow on the roof.
If your gutters failed during a winter storm and you’re getting water damage, we’ll prioritize your job and get out as soon as weather allows. We understand that some situations can’t wait until spring. Call us and we’ll give you a realistic timeline based on the forecast and our current schedule.
