When your gutters work right, you’re not thinking about them during spring downpours or watching ice build up in January. You’re not dealing with water pooling near your foundation or staining on your siding.
That’s what proper gutter installation does. It keeps water moving where it should—away from your home, your basement, and the wood trim that costs thousands to replace when it rots.
Maynard properties deal with more than most. You’ve got tree coverage higher than 91% of the country, which means leaves, pine needles, and debris. You’ve got 15-20 freeze-thaw cycles every winter, which means ice dams aren’t a possibility—they’re a given if your system isn’t built right. And you’ve got the kind of weather that punishes shortcuts.
Seamless gutters custom-fitted to your roofline handle what aluminum box-store gutters can’t. No leaks at the seams. No sagging under snow load. No water spilling over because the pitch is wrong. Just a system that does its job so you can stop babysitting your roof edge every season.
We’ve spent 18 years installing gutters, fixing roofs, and protecting homes across Massachusetts. We’re an Owens Corning Preferred Contractor, which means we’ve met requirements most companies don’t bother with.
You’re not hiring a crew that showed up last year. You’re working with people who know what Maynard homes face—the tree coverage, the winter conditions, the drainage issues that come with older properties in this area.
We don’t cut corners. We don’t oversell you on things you don’t need. And we don’t leave until the job’s done right, because that’s how you stay in business for nearly two decades in a town where word travels fast.
First, we come out and look at your home. Not a quick glance—an actual assessment of your roofline, fascia condition, drainage patterns, and what your property needs based on how water moves around it.
Then we measure and fabricate your seamless gutters on-site. That means they’re custom-fit to your exact dimensions, not pieced together from sections that leak at every joint. We’re talking aluminum, copper, or custom finishes depending on what you want and what your home requires.
Installation happens in a day for most homes. We mount everything securely to your fascia, set the pitch so water flows correctly, and make sure downspouts direct runoff away from your foundation. If you need gutter guards to handle Maynard’s tree coverage, we install those too—so you’re not up on a ladder twice a year cleaning out debris.
Before we leave, we test the system. We want to see water moving through it properly, and we want you to understand how it works and what to watch for down the road.
Ready to get started?
This isn’t a one-size-fits-all setup. Every home in Maynard has different drainage needs based on roof size, tree proximity, and how your lot slopes.
We’re installing seamless rain gutters fabricated to your measurements. That eliminates the weak points you get with sectional gutters that leak and separate over time. You’re getting properly pitched runs so water doesn’t pool or overflow. And you’re getting downspouts positioned to move water away from problem areas—not just dumped wherever’s convenient.
If your fascia boards are rotted or damaged, we’ll tell you before we mount anything. There’s no point installing new gutters on wood that won’t hold them. And if you’re dealing with heavy tree coverage like most properties around here, gutter guard installation makes sense—it keeps the system flowing and saves you from constant maintenance.
Massachusetts winters are brutal on roof edges. Ice dams form when gutters can’t handle snowmelt, and that tears up shingles, fascia, and anything else in the way. The systems we install are built to handle freeze-thaw cycles and snow load without sagging or pulling away from your roofline.
You also get a warranty on materials and labor. Most aluminum gutters come with 5-10 years on materials, and we back our work for 1-3 years depending on the scope.
For most homes, you’re looking at $1,200 to $3,000 depending on the size of your house, the material you choose, and whether you’re adding gutter guards. Aluminum is the most common and cost-effective. Copper costs more but lasts decades longer.
The price also depends on the condition of your fascia and how much prep work is needed before installation. If we’re replacing rotted boards or dealing with tricky rooflines, that adds to the scope.
We give you a free estimate after we’ve seen your property. No guessing, no pressure—just a clear number based on what your home actually needs.
If you’ve got trees near your house, yes. Maynard has more tree coverage than 91% of the country, which means your gutters are constantly dealing with leaves, pine needles, and twigs.
Gutter guards keep debris out so water can flow freely. Without them, you’re cleaning your gutters multiple times a year—or paying someone else to do it. And if you skip it, clogs lead to overflow, which leads to water damage on your siding, fascia, and foundation.
They’re not mandatory, but they’re a smart investment if you want a system that works without constant maintenance. We’ll tell you honestly whether your property needs them based on what’s around your roofline.
Seamless gutters are fabricated on-site in one continuous piece for each run. Regular sectional gutters are pieced together from shorter sections with joints and seams every 10 feet or so.
Those seams are where leaks start. Over time, the sealant breaks down, sections separate, and you’ve got water dripping where it shouldn’t. Seamless gutters eliminate that problem—there are no joints except at the corners and downspouts.
They also look cleaner. No visible seams means a more finished appearance that matches your roofline better. And they require less maintenance because there aren’t multiple connection points collecting debris and failing over time.
Most residential jobs take one day. We show up in the morning, fabricate your seamless gutters on-site, install everything, test the system, and clean up before we leave.
Larger homes or complex rooflines might take a day and a half. If we’re also replacing fascia boards or installing gutter guards, that adds a few hours.
Weather can delay things—we’re not installing gutters in a downpour or when it’s too cold for materials to seal properly. But once we start, we finish. You’re not dealing with a crew that disappears for days between visits.
Properly installed gutters help, but they’re not the only factor. Ice dams form when heat escapes through your roof, melts snow, and that water refreezes at the roof edge. If your gutters are clogged or poorly pitched, they make the problem worse by trapping water.
New seamless gutters with the right pitch let snowmelt drain away instead of pooling and freezing. Adding gutter guards keeps debris out so water can move freely even during freeze-thaw cycles. And making sure your fascia and soffits are in good shape prevents water from backing up into places it shouldn’t be.
But if your attic insulation is poor or your roof ventilation is inadequate, you’ll still get ice dams no matter how good your gutters are. We’ll tell you if we see other issues contributing to the problem—because fixing gutters alone won’t solve it if the root cause is somewhere else.
If your gutters are sagging, pulling away from the fascia, or leaking at multiple points, replacement usually makes more sense than patching. Same goes if you’ve got rust, cracks, or sections that are visibly damaged.
Small issues—like a single loose bracket or a minor leak at a seam—can often be repaired. But if you’re dealing with an older sectional system that’s failing in multiple spots, you’re better off installing seamless gutters that won’t have the same problems.
We’ll assess what you’ve got and tell you honestly whether repair or replacement is the smarter move. Sometimes a quick fix buys you a few more years. Other times, you’re throwing money at a system that’s going to keep failing no matter how much you patch it.
