Seamless gutters are fabricated in continuous sections that match your roofline length. Sectional gutters come in pre-cut pieces that are joined together during installation.
The main difference is leak potential. Every seam in sectional gutters is a potential failure point where water can leak through over time. Seamless gutters only have seams at corners and downspouts, which significantly reduces leak risk.
Seamless gutters also look cleaner because there aren’t visible joints every ten feet along your roofline. They cost slightly more upfront, but they last longer and require less maintenance. For most Lexington homeowners, seamless is the better investment.
