You’re not dealing with water pooling around your foundation after spring storms. Your landscaping isn’t washing away every time it rains. Your basement stays dry because water goes where it’s supposed to.
That’s what properly installed rain gutters do. They move thousands of gallons away from your home’s foundation, siding, and the areas you’ve invested in. When gutters fail or don’t exist, you’re looking at foundation cracks, rotted fascia, eroded driveways, and basement water issues that cost exponentially more to fix.
New Hampshire throws everything at your home. Wet leaves in fall. Ice buildup in winter. Heavy spring rains and summer downpours. Your gutters need to handle all of it without sagging, leaking, or dumping water in the wrong places. Seamless gutter installation eliminates the weak points where sectional gutters fail, giving you a system that actually works when you need it.
We’ve been serving Candia and surrounding New Hampshire communities since 2001. We’re a full-service general contractor, but gutters are one of those things you can’t afford to get wrong. We know that.
We’re an Owens Corning Preferred Contractor, which means we’ve met strict standards for quality and reliability. We carry full insurance and back our work with a 5-year installation warranty on top of the manufacturer’s 20-year coverage. You’re not hiring someone who showed up last year with a truck.
Candia homes face specific challenges. The snow load here is real. Ice dams form. Spring runoff is significant. We fabricate every gutter system onsite, custom-fit to your roofline and pitched correctly for New Hampshire weather patterns. That’s not something you get with pre-cut sections from a big box store.
We start with an onsite assessment of your home. We’re looking at roofline, fascia condition, current drainage patterns, and where water needs to go. If your fascia is rotted or your soffit is damaged, we’ll tell you before we hang new gutters. There’s no point installing on compromised wood.
Next, we take precise measurements and fabricate your seamless gutters right at your property. This isn’t a one-size-fits-all situation. Every home is different, and custom fabrication means no seams except at corners, which dramatically reduces leak potential.
Installation involves securely mounting the gutter system with proper pitch for drainage, installing downspouts in locations that move water away from your foundation, and making sure everything is sealed and tested. We clean up completely when we’re done. You get a system that’s ready to handle the next storm, and you’re not left with a mess in your yard.
If you want gutter guards, we install those during the same visit. It’s one less thing on your maintenance list.
Ready to get started?
Rain gutter installation from us includes the full system: seamless gutters custom-fabricated to your exact measurements, properly pitched and mounted to code, downspouts positioned for optimal drainage, and all end caps, corners, and fasteners needed for a watertight installation.
We use quality materials designed for New Hampshire’s climate. That means gutters that won’t crack in cold weather, sag under snow load, or corrode from road salt and moisture. You’re getting a 20-year manufacturer’s warranty because the materials are built to last, plus our 5-year installation warranty.
In Candia, you’re dealing with heavy autumn leaf drop, winter ice, and significant spring melt. If you’re installing new gutters, gutter guard installation makes sense. It keeps debris out, reduces ice dam formation, and means you’re not climbing a ladder twice a year to clean them out. We can add guards to any system we install.
We also handle fascia and soffit repairs if needed. Water damage doesn’t stop at the gutter. If the wood behind it is compromised, we fix that first so your new system has solid backing. You get a complete solution, not a band-aid.
Most residential gutter installations take one day, sometimes less depending on your home’s size and complexity. We fabricate everything onsite, so there’s no waiting on materials or multiple trips.
The timeline can extend if we’re also doing fascia or soffit repairs, or if you’re adding gutter guards to the system. We’ll give you an exact timeframe during the estimate. Weather can be a factor, especially in winter, but we work year-round when conditions allow.
You don’t need to be home the entire time, but we’ll need access to water and power. We’ll walk you through the completed installation before we leave and answer any questions about maintenance or what to watch for.
Sectional gutters come in pre-cut lengths that snap or screw together. Every joint is a potential leak point. Over time, those seams separate, especially under the stress of ice and snow. You end up with drips, stains on your siding, and water going places it shouldn’t.
Seamless gutters are fabricated as one continuous piece for each run of your roofline. The only seams are at inside and outside corners where they’re necessary. That means fewer weak points, less maintenance, and a much lower chance of leaks developing over the years.
Seamless also looks cleaner. There are no visible joints running along your roofline. For homes in Candia where curb appeal matters, that’s not a small thing. The upfront cost is slightly higher, but you’re not replacing or repairing them nearly as often.
You don’t need them, but they make life easier and protect your investment. Candia has plenty of trees. Pine needles, oak leaves, maple seeds—all of it ends up in your gutters. Clogged gutters overflow, which defeats the entire purpose of having them.
Gutter guards keep debris out while letting water flow through. That means you’re not up on a ladder cleaning them out twice a year, which is legitimately dangerous. It also reduces ice dam formation in winter because water can drain instead of sitting in the gutter and freezing.
The return on investment is pretty straightforward. You avoid the cost of gutter cleaning services or the risk of doing it yourself. Your gutters last longer because they’re not sitting full of wet debris that corrodes the material. And your home stays protected year-round without you thinking about it.
If you’re seeing sagging sections, visible separation at the seams, rust or holes, or water spilling over the sides during rain, replacement usually makes more sense than repair. Patchwork fixes on old gutters buy you a year or two at most.
Check your fascia and the ground around your foundation. Water stains on the fascia mean your gutters are leaking or overflowing. Erosion or pooling water near your foundation means they’re not doing their job. If your gutters are more than 20 years old and showing any of these signs, replacement is the smarter move.
We’ll give you an honest assessment during the estimate. Sometimes a section can be repaired or a downspout repositioned. But if the system is failing in multiple places, you’re better off installing new gutters that come with a warranty and won’t need constant attention.
Downspouts channel water from your gutters to ground level, but where it goes from there matters as much as the gutters themselves. We position downspouts to direct water at least five feet away from your foundation. That’s usually done with extensions or underground drainage pipes.
If water dumps right next to your foundation, you’ll get settling, cracks, and eventually basement moisture problems. In Candia’s clay-heavy soil, poor drainage can also cause issues with driveways and walkways settling or cracking over time.
During installation, we’ll talk through drainage options based on your property’s slope and layout. Sometimes a simple splash block works. Other times, you need buried drainage lines that carry water to a better location. We handle both, and we make sure the entire system works together so you’re not creating new problems while solving old ones.
We install gutters year-round in New Hampshire as long as temperatures are above freezing and conditions are safe. The materials we use aren’t affected by cold weather, and the installation process doesn’t require caulking or sealants that need warm temperatures to cure properly.
Winter installation actually has some advantages. We’re often less booked, so you can get on the schedule faster. And if you install before spring melt, your new system is ready to handle the significant runoff that comes with warming temperatures and snowmelt.
The only limitation is extreme cold or active snow and ice on the roof. We’re not working in unsafe conditions, and we need clear access to your roofline. If you’re thinking about new gutters and it’s December, call us. We’ll let you know if we can get it done now or if waiting a few weeks makes more sense.
